On April 9, 2010, Major Randell D. Voas gave his life defending our freedom as a CV22 Osprey Aircraft Commander executing an emergency landing while on a Special Operations Mission near Kandahar, Afghanistan.
Thanks to everyone that came out for the 6th Annual Randy's Run, held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2015. Over 300 were in attendance for this year's event! Thanks to everyone that came out, to our sponsors, and to everyone who donated.
To increase awareness of the contributions men and women make every day to keep
this country free. To raise scholarship funds to award to deserving EPHS seniors. To have fun with friends and family and remember Randy
“Randy was one of the first classmates I met when I moved to Eden Prairie at the end of 8th Grade. As soon as I heard that a group of my classmates had created Randy's Run in his honor, I knew that I had to participate, first as a runner, and subsequently as an organizer. I'm thankful to Randy for his service, and ultimately giving his life, and I'm thankful that our organization can honor him by giving back to our community.”

“Developing Randy's Run began as a way for some of us classmates to cope with the harsh reality that we'd lost a friend. It became more meaningful to tell his story each year while helping students who upheld Randy's ideals. I'm proud of the students who've competed for the Randy's Run scholarship. They're accomplished, thoughtful and hard-working, just like our classmate and friend, Randy Voas."
